My First Time Driving The SNJ-5 Many Moons Ago

Sat Aug 15, 2009 9:59 pm

Here's a moldy oldie I found in a friends hanger down at the airport.
Taken on Jan 31, 1980 on my 17th birthday. I've just survived my present courtesy of my mentor Ed Moore. darn that was fun and for the first time in my time I felt like a MAN!! I just had to sit there for a minute or 2 so my hands would quit shaking. I think Ed's contemplating getting more life insurance.

I remember sitting up front after shutdown and dad telling me to get on out of the airplane, and my knees and hands were shaking so bad, I didn't want to move!

Cool pic Jack! 8)

Let me see,... you were 17. It was your BDay and it was an SNJ flight you made from the front.
Com'on Jack, the real reason you cant stand up is you were a 17 year old guy flying an SNJ from the front and you thought that 'feeling' was just for girls!
