And the guy doesn't budge an inch. Watch the rally car video too - it's a good one.

Hey, I went to college!
besides, EVERYONE I know sends me airplane stuff!
It was just one of them!

I think it's a pretty stupid move on everyone's parts in this flt-by. Just a couple of feet and that guy on the ground is dead.

Haha, You know there were twenty buddies behind the camera cheering him on, taking bets. But what about the Ray Hanna low pass in the Spitfire? That was pretty close too, or was that more of a trickery of the camera?

No trickery on the camera for the Hanna Spitfire pass, and I don't think that one was very dangerous at all. In fact, I would propose that one was far less risky. IIRC, Ray did that low pass right after takeoff. Since he had just taken off, he knew EXACTLY where the ground was and his eyeballs were perfectly calibrated. In addition to that, his speed was pretty low, since Ray had just taken off and was still accelerating in airspeed. Also, if you watch the Spitfire video, you will notice that Ray does a slight positive climb vector at the very end, ensuring he has separation between his aircraft and the reporter. IMO, that whole Spitfire flyby was very controlled and Ray knew exactly what he was doing.

In this jet video, that aircraft was doing a high speed pass, hard to say exactly what speed, but probably in the 400 to 500KIAS range. That margin for error, was very, very small for either hitting the guy standing on the runway or the runway itself. Yes, that jet flyby was definitely dangerous.
