History topic: Japanese captured P-40's

Thu Sep 03, 2009 8:37 am

It's been a long time since I did any historical research on aircraft. Seeing how I turned from wartime records to current warbird records. haha

Anyway I know most of you probably know about this but during WWII the Japanese were able to capture several allied aircraft. One most notable aircraft is the P-40 Warhawk. There are stories and some documentation that the Japanese used these P-40's in combat.

The sister site from my site....j-aircraft.com has a host of information regarding this subject. Now if I Can only find it...its been a long time!

But here is one thread:

For those interested...cheers,
