No biggie. I've said from the very start of the FIFI re-engine project, that the engine we were coming up with was essentially a "Rare Bear Light" engine. I reckon that description was a bit more accurate than I thought, huh? ;-)

Does that mean FiFi will be able to do over 400mph and turn left ?

That would be nice but that was never intended in the deal. We are open to any help from anyone that knows how much we want "FIFI" back in the air! There are no strings so lets not get crazy. We are glad to help and will be pulling for the "BEAR" to do well and prove that this is a sound, powerful and reliable powerplant.

What's the designation of that powerplant?? Maybe R-3350-100-GA sounds good to me!

Well what we all thought was true. Race 232's engine was junk, was never going to be used for the Bear, and rumors were FIFI gave up an engine.

It's funny you say that. It happened (sort of) back in 1997............
