Wing Walking

Sat Sep 12, 2009 2:23 am

Hello Folks:

At airshows wing walking on biplanes is popular, so how about wing walking on P-51's? I wonder how long somebody could stay on? Excuse the silly post..

I would think it would depend on whether or not the wings were puttied and smoothed like the originals...might make it harder to hang on. Then again, you could use suction cup boots..they might stick better to the smooth surface.

Of course, Wing Walking is rather passe after all these years. How about Wing Dining?

You first. A good theme for the Man Vs wild. A good parachute plus acme suction cups should work.

I believe that the P-51 wing walk has been done...hence the phrase...don't P(-51) into the wind.......AND SO IT GOES...
