that board is an aircraft i.d. / silhouette i.d. training board for western warbirds of that era, the other part with depictions of cities looks like bombing trajectory training, probably for nuke delivery, pretty spooky!! i highly recommend hitting the other link provided , you will not believe your eyes!! thanks for this post as it gives real deep insight to the russian aspect of the cold war. the russians could use a good scrap dealer in those other pics, maybe it would help with their financial woes!! wish i could read cirilic letters!!

The diagram (from looking at the website and doing a few google searches) is an interception "cheat sheet" that shows the bombing profile for various aircraft and cruise missiles. My guess is that this was used for training and reference for identifying what radar and GCI operators were seeing on their scopes based on altitude, speed, reflection size, and other factors.

It basically shows the altitudes, speeds, and tactics utilized by the aircraft depicted. The aircraft shown are the B-52, Vulcan, F-111, and FB-111. They also give range and payload. Then, on the first two "missile" profiles, they are showing the one of the primary cruise missiles used by the B-52, F-111, and FB.111 - the SRAM. The first is the "low" profile, and the second is the "semi-ballistic" profile of the SRAM. The bottom chart is the profile for the British "Blue Steel" missile.
