Anything between Vegas and Williams?

The wife and I are think of going to the Grand Canyon this spring. Neither of us have ever been there, so I'm wondering if there are any good warbird/WW2 things to see/do in the Grand Canyon/Williams area. We'd probably go to Las Vegas as well for a day.
Any advice on things to see in the area would be greatly appreciated. Anything well outside of that area I'm talking about (like the Tucson area , for example) would not be helpful as we won't have a lot of time to travel outside of the area between Las Vegas and the Canyon.
I already plan to take a lot in Kingman just to look around.

Hi,
The Planes of Fame has a museum just South of the main entrance of the South Rim. I was soooooo close last year with a carfull of non-aviation family and inlaws and drove right past it and didn't get to go..........

Yeah, but didn't they just sell off most of their aircraft, or am I thinking of someplace else???

Your thinking of the Champlin Fight Museum.
Valle, between Williams and the Grand Canyon is part of the Planes of Fame Museum, lots to see( the canyon is kind of neat too )

Just wondering, what was the reason for moving parts of the display to Arizona?

I am just guessing but I would say for two reasons...
#1 Space at Chino, although large by most museum standards, is rather "full".
#2 It is ideally placed along a route to one of the most fantastic (I have never see the Grand Canyon myself, but I have heard it is a must see) tourist traps in the world. There would certainly be revenue to be gained by people dropping in to see what the museum is about while on their way to or from the Grand Canyon.
