Upgrade status - SNAFU

All right boys and girls, here is the status of the upgrade. I've installed PhpBB3 and it is operational. However, 6 hours into the conversion of the current database it failed. this means that this weeks beta test is suspended and I will have to try again next weekend. the conversion is a pita since I have to click continue every 2-3 minutes and 6 hours in it was only half done. this is a huge site so there is a lot to process. I will try again on my next day off, which is next Sunday. Sorry for the continued inconvenience, but hey, at least the main part of the board works.

Your efforts to keep this forum going and upgraded are very much appreciated by all of us so don't kick yourself around because it's proving difficult. I'm having issues with my newly purchased ipod NANO and APPLE trying to load it up with freakin' technopop, elevator music and no visable icon to make it stop, so I appreciate what a goat rope you're having-

Hows about adding some more/different emoticons to the selection?

Scott, the email warnings are working again so I would advise for you to don't "waste" more of your precious time with unneed upgrades. After all, "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" and I think you have just fix it so it's not broken anymore.
