South Florida Sights?

Fri Apr 01, 2005 10:34 pm

My company was kind enough to jet me down to the Ft Meyers & Miami with expenses + pay for the next two weeks. :D Does Mr. Weeks still operate a facility at Tamiami? Are there any other warbirds down here worth a gander?

Here's a shot of a T-6 I spotted shooting touch & go's in Naples yesterday. Any idea who it belongs to?

The Weeks Museum hangar is now occupied by the Wings Over Miami Museum

T-6

The 6 is owned by Steve Linsenmeyer, one of two former S.A.A.F.
T-6's assembled by American Aero about 6 years ago. He also has a complete Bf-109 in storage.

Any idea if this is the same Stephen Linsenmeyer that used to own an FG-1D Corsair back in the 1960's? It's not often you find a duplicate name like that among the warbird community!
