Paul - I found your site very interesting. You can imagine my surprise to see a picture of my Dad's plane, B-26G-5, 43-34220, under the Aircraft by Nose Art. The plane arrived overseas in July 44. He arrived Aug 44, and flew a B-26 called Invadin Maiden until it was shot down with another crew on one of his off-duty days. He then got I'll Get By and flew it for the rest of the war. Condemned as salvage and scrapped in Germany on 5-10 46, I believe. Keep up the good work, Paul,

Paul - I should have mentioned that Captain Fraser, in the ETO picture of I'll Get Bye, is not my Dad. I assume that Captain Fraser must have finished his tour and the plane was available and assigned to my Dad when when his plane, Invadin Maiden, was lost. The picture in the scrapyard has my Dad's crew names. They had a lot of fun with the nicknames, each has its own story and reason.
