A few Ryan & Magister Photos from Old Warden

Mon Apr 04, 2005 6:06 am

The 2005 show season's rapidly approaching and on Saturday I was lucky enough to catch Andy Sephton and Peter Holloway giving Peter's Magister and Ryan a pre-season airing. The Ryan's a very photogenic little plane that always looks good - the Magister is sporting a new serial number to reflect the original identity of the majority of the parts incorporated in the aeroplane.

Here are some of the photos:

Excellent stuff. Looks like you guys had a very good weekend.

How's the new runway looking then? Ready for training week?

Steve, the part of the runway that was in use is shaping up well and should be fine for the first few shows of the season until the new runway is ready for use. The take-offs and landings will be offset from the usual crowdline but the displays will still be centred where they have always been.

Rob
thanks for posting your pictures here as well as elsewhere.
I'm looking forward to a great season at Old Warden.

I can't chose between the Maggie and the Ryan as to which one is the more attractive.
Peter certainly keeps them both in lovely condition.

Cheers
Andy

He has a willing band of helpers to keep them clean.
