"Texas Raiders" early CAF paint scheme question

Sun Nov 29, 2009 8:32 pm

I'm looking at a 1975 issue of After the Battle magazine, which has an article of the CAF.
There is a small photo of Texas Raiders in her early OD and Green paint scheme, but rather than the Triangle G of the 305BG I believe she wore through a lot of the 70's, she has the Triangle S and yellow diagonal stripe of the 401BG.

Does anyone have any better photo's of her in this scheme?

All the best,
PB

I'll see what I can find, Paul. I'll likely PM you with the information when I do find it. For an even better scheme, here you go:

Jesse Callan sent me a bunch of old CAF Dispatches, some from that era (I can't say enough for getting those, they're a treasure trove), so I'll look as well and see if I can find anything for you.
