What's the story behind this picture? In the background of those windows, it appears to be the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. Mather, of course, is in Sacramento - nowhere near the Bay Bridge or water, for that matter.

Where is that lounge?

Caption on the page says Lockheed Electra.

Scroll down on this page for an F-104 being towed down the road back to Hamilton AFB  :

Looks like a promo shot of a Northwest Orient 747. Probably taken in a mock-up for advertising.

Looking at the photo taken from "inside an airliner" I have to surmise that it is fake airplane shot. The size of the windows is a dead giveaway!! Other than a 1930's era airliner (e.g. German DO-X) I have no idea what kind of aircraft has windows that big!! Further since they are over SF Bay (about 3 miles east of SFO or directly over Oakand Airport) shouldn't the passengers be in their seats with seat-belts in place?

Hey, isn't this a warbirds site ???

^^^ That looks like the Boeing Model 307 with a DC-2 flying overhead. What a unique picture!
