Hello!
My name is Paul Vasconi, and I live in Melbourne FL. I am hoping that you could possibly help me. We have a "mission" and need a good pilot for it!
I am looking for a ferry pilot to fly a BT-15 from Vero Beach Florida to Indianapolis Indiana sometime in the next 30 days or so.
Experience with the Wright 975 is preferred.
The airplane is in excellent condition, with less than 20 hours since overhaul and restoration in 2002. It was just annualled last month and was last flown earlier this week as part of a prebuy inspection. The engine and prop are also fresh. Its essentially bone stock military with modern com and transponder. VFR airplane.
I am trying to locate a qualified pilot for a friend of mine who plans to be the new owner but does not yet have the hours needed to qualify under his insurance.
If the pilot is a CFI and can do dual instruction, that would be a plus, as I would like to fly up with the airplane and receive some log time under instruction on the way, but this is not mandatory.
Naturally, expenses are covered and the CFI time would be paid additionally. If additional compensation is required, please state such in reply. Call me at 321-728-3292 res, 321-725-4043 ofc, or page me at 321-455-7534 anytime and leave message for callback. email is also listed below.
Many thanks
Paul Vasconi
