T-33 in Windsor

Sat Apr 09, 2005 9:28 pm

Hi!

I went to Windsor today with the 208 to drop off someone.

I saw a CAF T-33 parked there, stripped of all the Canuckian markings.

Who's the owner? Just curious here...

Also, I saw a Harvard land, I checked TC's Registry and there are two based there.

Here's the Harvard :

Windsor T-33

The T-33 that you saw is owned by the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association and is done up in a special "anniversary" paint job, not exactly sure but I think the T-Bird 60 th anniversary. It's also connected to 417 Sqdn which is "The City of Windsor" Squadron. Both Harvards are owned by one gentleman here in town, a nice fellow who seems to exercise them a fair amount.
