Repling to threads

Can someone tell me why when repling to someone's post sometimes it comes up as being highlighted in a white box while other times, like mine it doesn't get highlighted at all. Thanks.

Pat, if someone simply posts a reply by using the "Post a Reply" button, there's no white box. But if they use the "Quote" button, like I did, the quoted text appears in a white box.

At least that's how it's supposed to work... :-)

Hey Buck, I guess I should have said, when I use the quote button it does not come up highlighted. I have also noticed this sometimes with other peoples replies when they use the quote option. I thought maybe iy is my computer?

Hi Pat,
Sometimes its because someone's (mostly our pilots) broken the code either side of the quote, but it apply in this case.

I think it's probably because you have the BBCode turned off. Go to the 'User Control Panel' (near top right) click on that, then on the left on the 'Edit Posting defaults' - see 'Enable BBCode by default:' and click to 'on' then 'submit' below.

Hope that works!
