That first picture is great: The twisted, old tree and the "ancient" power unit. I think it's an MD-3...a museum piece in it's own right...awesome!

Hey Colby,happy new year!! Could you give us a breakdown on the mods required after the 262 arrived there? Some of the pics on the Sanders website show the tailplane screwjack while others show engine installs and retracts,are you permitted to discuss this without offending anyone?BTW,how is 308 doing with Dick Janitell,the pics taken before delivery are stunning,best regards,Pete

Happy new year to you as well. In regards to 308, I talked to Dick at Reno and it sounds like it's doing pretty well. I think it's in good hands with him.

Just to clarify-is the aircraft still under the ownership of Judge Werner, or has the Collings Foundation purchased it outright?
