Just wondering what the updates were for the overall layout of the facility? Have they begun moving the original US Control tower or German hangar to the field? I also heard there still planning on constructing 2 more hangars. Is there any timeline or knowledge out there about this?
Any info would be appreciated. I just love this collection and hope it only gets bigger and better!

I'd like to hear a little more on some of the restorations they have taking place. I've heard they have the following aircraft that are all being worked on and are nearing flight: P-39, Bf109 (conversion from a Hispano), Bf109E-7, the Mosquito at Avspecs, FlugWerk 190A-8/N, FM-2... anything else?
I'm also very interested in the airfield they're constructing. It looks like a really ambitious and unique project and it will be a very unique opportunity to be able to see some of those buildings restored. I'd love to make it out there someday.

Is the P-63 in Russian markings as #17, and 42-70609, strictly a static restoration?

Keep an eye on the next couple issues of Warbird Digest, there may be some info on the FM-2.
Yes, the P-63 is static. The spar is severely rotted.

The Storch is in Suffolk now, if I could figure out how to attach a photo I'd post one.

I saw that being worked on over the summer at Centennial Air in Battle Creek. It's going to absolutely fantastic when it's completed.

Always exciting to hear where the planes are in the restoration process. Didn't know there was a second 109 being worked on for Jerry Yagen. What about the A-26? I thought this aircraft was close to being finished?

I'm afraid the A-26 is not close to flight. I've visited the Fighter Factory twice- February 2008 and December 2009. On my second visit it looked as though the Invader had not been touched.
