Will keep you posted in any event as we get closer and more of the information (concer tickets, etc.) and known. It looks like it will be a great weekend.

That is awesome. I have a room across the way.

Last I heard the Reunion is still trying to come up with fuel money. Are all of those 18 B-25's going to pay their own way, or is that count of 18 dependent upon the Reunion being able to pay for their fuel?

Can anyone fill me in on this event. It does not appear that there is any flyby, so unless you are there for the arrivals its only static displays?

Bill

The list shows a B-25 flyover on Sunday ... weather permitting ... the Musuem website has a flyer one can download with the schedule.

I asked someone who is close to the Raider's side about the 18 B-25's, and they thought that count was very high. Last I had heard it was more like 8 B-25's.

Just an assumption, but I would venture a guess that 8 have said they would try to come on their own, should funding not be available, and perhaps up to 18 might come should they receive funding for the trip.

I know the Raiders are still hopeful that full funding will come about. They still have two sources that they have not heard a yes or no from. At least that's my last info.

I was looking to attend this reunion and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding hotel choices? Thanks in advance.

There is a hotel right across from the museum, It is nice and brand new. I think it is the Country Inn and Suites. That is where Zachary and I are staying. Place has a pool, hot tub, and serves breakfast. That place will book up fast, so then I would suggest anything in fairfield by the Nutter Center

Just a friendly FYI....back in the day there were two towns outside the gates of Wright and Patterson Fields...Fairfield and Osborn. They merged and became Fairborn. That is the current name of the area. If you google hotels in FairFIELD you will wind up in a north suburb of Cincinnati about 49 miles away.

You should also check Beavercreek. Key on the area around the Mall at Fairfield Commons/North Fairfield Road/ Pentagon Blvd/Col. Glenn Hwy.

Many of the Military Reunion groups use Motels in the Fairborn area as they visit the Museum. Pathfinder is right on the button.
