This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Just read in this months Air Classic that LSFM is sending/donating their once pristine AT 11 (Cuban Markings) to Yankee Air Museum. I know that this was one of the aircraft that was unable to be flown out and took a beating in the storm a few years ago= Sorry to say that I am not as "In the Know" as I once was at LSFM since I moved away. Anyone have any more info- while it always sad to see one go away I am also heartened to see such a collaboration between two organizations that share similar goals and think this will be best for everyone.
The same article also menionted that the F3F has been sold as well. Not surprising as it too needed a lot of work and I am sure that both of these had something to do with bringing the TF51 to the museum.
