Also remember Sparrowhawk, they have to served on board of the US airships but their fatal fate stop that. Our friend Holendiger has made some excellent art on this plane.

Interesting subject. Remains of the USS Macon's Sparrowhawks were found when the sunken airship was discovered.

The finding of the Macon's remains prompted me to do this piece. Only one surviving AC of that type after the loss of both Akron and Macon, the concept was scrapped. The remaining Sparrowhawks were relegated to hack duty and as they were oddball little fighters designed for a specific useage, they quietly faded away.
