New nose art for CAF's B-25 44-35972

I was sad to hear last year that 44-86797 (N3438G), Old Gray Mare was not going to the 1941 HAG in Geneseo NY. But I hope it finds a good & loving home in AZ.
Does anyone know if the CAF B-25 will tour with Sentimental Journey? That would bee cool.
B-17 44-85790 it is getting to the point where someone needs to put that B-17 out of its misery, or would it be putting us out of your misery over that a/c. SO SO SAD
Then there is the B-17 in Tulare
The USAF just needs to find a good, safe home for that. Preferable one that will get some air under the wheels.

Tim, I think a great place for the Tulare B-17 would be the Mighty 8th Heritage Museum in Georgia. What do you think?

Right now the Mare has her props off for AD compliance, and the flight controls are off for recovering. I will be heading out there tomorrow to replace a damaged exhaust stack on the left engine.

It appear that they are tied in with the NASM? They have 2 B-17s. I think they really could use one. Are not both off public display?

I like that fact the got "Fighting Sam" B-24 Nose.
It seems like the Lacy & Tulare B-17 have truck targets on them. It kills me.

The Tulare B-17 remains under the auspices of the USAF Museum Program. It's probably in as good a shape as some of the other B-17s in that program that are displayed outdoors. It, however, has been hit a number of times by vehicles since it's so close to Highway 99 and an exit off that freeway with a tight turn.
