Great pictures, thanks! Did you get any updates on the P-39, Mossie, or A-20?

Also, did any of the Russian stuff fly?

That P51 is getting some miles on it, I seem to recall it at Chino last weekend...

Thank you for the photos, excellent stuff! Please post more if you can - I love that Rapide!

ZRX61 - the "Double Trouble Two" that you saw at Chino, is one of the Friedkin P-51's, rather than this "Double Trouble Two", belonging to the Military Aviation Museum. The easiest way to tell the two apart, is that the MAM version has a Spit-mirror atop the windscreen, along with other more subtle differences.

Great photos, keep them coming. Canon 100-400 for the aerial shots?

None of the Russian ac are flying at this time. The Mig3 hasn't flown yet and the Yak is waiting to be put back together which should be going on soon, it's in the MX hangar now. No word to us on the mx floor about the P-39 but the Mossie should be here for next years show. A-20? are you thinking of the A-26?

Never could figure out why some P51 owners appear to think there is a shortage of paint schemes to choose from. At least 3 Old Crows spring to mind, 3 BBD's & others..

The Fighter Factory's P-51 was in it's DTT scheme when it was acquired and brought back from Europe. I have a feeling that when/if it gets a repaint then it will be something different.

I think warbird1 was refering to Jerry's Douglas A-20 which is under rebuild at Precision Aerospace in Wangarratta, Australia. We haven't heard an update on what's been going on there in some time... would be interesting to know!

Cheers,
Richard

Well, not to mention the A-26 too thats still at the MX hangar? I thought that aircraft was suppose to be done by now. Wish the museum would update there overall list of aircraft they have at the museum, let alone the numerous restoration projects they have going on everywhere! I know, I know, in all due time.

It's here on the same field but is in a storage hangar.

Yes, thank you Craig and Richard. I thought that Yagen had an A-20 under restoration down under. Did he sell it?

If there is an A-20 headed this way then it's the best kept secret Gerald has, been here almost 2 years and have not heard a thing about an A-20. Lots of other things though, but not an A-20.
