re:SWAMP GHOST - Please help us contact the crew's families

Tue Jun 01, 2010 10:11 pm

Greeting Friends & Colleagues,

I am involved in the recovery of the Swamp Ghost.

The last member of the crew died last year, and we helped arrange a fitting send off for him at Arlington National Cemetery.

We would like to contact the families of the other crew members so that we can help honor them as well.

CAN YOU HELP?

The crew members were, I believe:

Pilot - Captain Frederick 'Fred' C. Eaton, Jr.
Co Pilot - Captain Henry M. "Hotfoot" Harlow
Navigator - 1st Lt. George B. Munroe, Jr.
Engineer - T/Sgt. Clarence A. LeMieux
Bombadier - Sgt. Richard E. Oliver
Radio/Gunner - Sgt . Howard A. Sorensen
Waist Gunner - Sgt William E. Schwartz
Waist Gunner - T/Sgt Russell Crawford
Tail Gunner - SSgt. John V. Hall

Thank You!

Mike
