Looking for any info about this particular P-38J, ''Old Smoothbore'' of the 1st FG, 15th AF, MTO.
Serial number, date of assignment etc.
Also, any other photo except this one please?

Hi Chobi,
Do you have a higher-resolution copy of this photo, or the original? In the shot, you can just see the aircraft's Data Panel in the bottom right corner. Higher-res and you might be able to read off the serial number from it.
