Douglas C-47A Instrument Panel Photo Wanted

Fri Jun 18, 2010 9:23 am

Looking for a Wartime photo (or from a manual) of a Douglas built C-47A in the "80" block of production (C-47A-80-DL February 1944) instrument panel and cockpit. Let me know if you have some or know of any. Feel free to post them here. Restored aircraft pictures are Ok too. Thanks.

Good luck with that...
I just checked my father's T.O. 1C-47-1, dated 1 March 1957 and it just says
"Main Instrument Panel - Typical". No model suffix, let alone a block number.

Sorry.

I also have a manual. What I am looking for any pictures, even candid, taken in the cockpit of C-47As. The arrangement in my cockpit is different from the one in the manual, so I am hoping someone can help.
