That Lockheed looks familiar.
Try dialling back the shutter speed on the flight shots, to give some prop blur.....

Nice! What did you get? I agree with the slower shutter speed for more prop blur but do what you're comfortable with for now and work up to that stuff.

Nikon D 3000. Still trying to figure it out. Thanks for the advice! I used it today while at the Olympic airshow. I'll post some pictures after the show tomorrow. The weather was crap all day! I learned that the camera is very picky about lighting so I had to switch modes to find the best one, a few dark shots but all in all it's not a bad camera.
