DHC-1 Chipmunk

Sun Aug 01, 2010 11:06 am

We took the DHC-1 out for some fresh air yesterday, and we ran the engine. She is currently for sale with maybe a visitor this week.

What a beauty. Too bad I don't have the coin to purchase her. I hear they're a real delight to fly.

Peace,

David

The Chipmunk left today for Oshawa, but it had to stop at Kingston due to weather.

So long Chippie!

I've been uploading old videos on Youtube, here's a clip of a run up we did when we still had her.

Yellowbirds in the morning light.

Image

Caught this pic on my iPhone of the CH2A Yellowbirds last Saturday morning as I was entering the hangar. From left to right: Chippie, Stearman, Chippie, Harvard, Fleet Fawn. (The Harvard is being stored for the winter for the Canadian Harvard Association.)

Cheers,
Don
