N522D Mayday?

Sitting in the tower today at 1120 EST, I heard a radio relay from a Delta Airlines aircraft. They were relaying a "mayday" for N522D, who was at 2,000' and experiencing some sort of emergency, location unknown but somewhere in the visinity of Jacksonville Center.

I looked this N Number up on the FAA registry, and this was the registration of a TB-25N registered in the Virgin Islands.

Anyone know anything about this?

Hey Randy, Another interesting thing is the registry says that aircraft has a revoked A/W Cert.
