This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Not sure if any one has posted this yet, but I just learned that the P-51 SIG is back online.
They are a great resource with a wealth of information and many knowledgeable people to tap into on anything regarding the Mustang.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the P-51 SIG? The website and resource page is up, but there does not appear to be any means of registering on the forum - there's literally no link to do so. I wondered if it was a browser problem, but have tried with three different browsers with the same effect!
I'm working on a book on the Allison-engined variants, so would really like to make contact with the SIG. Thanks in advance to anyone who has any info.

I sent an email to one of the mods with a link to this thread.

I was wondering that also. I got a bunch of hits to my year in review slideshow, and I was trying to find the thread that linked to it, but there is no possible way to register.

The P-51 SIG registration is a 'by request only' situation now through the admin contact on the resource page you see. If you do not find that (and you should) then PM me and I will send you the contact info and instructions.
The reason for this is, although it involves a little email tag it is far easier for me and involves much less time than dealing with keeping the daily wave of spammers cleaned out.

We P-40 guys call you mustang folk hair dressers. You know you would rather fly a Kittyhawk.

My day job is restoring a P-40. I'd still rather have a Mustang.

(Not that P-40's aren't cool too!)

You're still a hairdresser then. When you have flown a Kittyhawk get back to me.I bet you will change your mind.

P-51 Folks:
Good day!
Does this P-51 SIG has any data or photos of the dual cabin P-51 Cavalier that the Salvadorean AF (FAS) attempted to re-built back c. 1970s??
