Forty years later, the equipment and faces have changed but the flightdeck ballet has not. The enclosed cat consoles were interesting in that we never went to them until the Nimitz class. The enclosed arresting gear console was also interesting considering that we never have used it unless they have added it to the Ford class, which hasn't gotten any where close to setting the Hangar deck let alone the FDlightdeck.
