Any chance in the near future we will be seeing an article on the Oshkosh award winning Corsair?

Thats exactly what I was thinking !

Its interesting that both Classic Wings and Warbirds Digest had articles on the Sea Fire and yet seem to miss the most important Grand Champion of them all

And if you look real hard at the cover photo, that hint of flesh color in the cockpit of Liberty Belle peering over the pilots (Ray Fowler) shoulder MIGHT be me! I was riding in Liberty Belle when that picture was taken.........

Why is another nice Corsair more important than a last-of-its-kind type whose restoration has been eagerly awaited for over 40 years? To me, the decision to profile the Seafire just seems like sensible editorial priorities -- especially for a mag whose audience is not all American.

All I asked was 'if'......never said it had to be 'when'....the Spitfire rocks too. Seems I'm not the only one, either. Guess that means SOME of us, obviously not ALL...want to read about the Corsair!

Already read it cover to cover. One of my favorite issues so far. The Seafire and B-17 articles were great, and I really enjoyed the feature on Art Kemp. Keep up the great work!

Perhaps because we had gone to print before Oshkosh started? By the time the next issue is ready to go the aircraft will no doubt be covered in depth in one of the US mags. 'Rock-Hard Place'
Its all a timing thing-fortunately we were only about 10 days out when the Seafire flew so managed to get in first, but really all mags are in the same boat-more so those which are not monthly publications which includes both us and WD.

The two best magazines are ( in no particular order ) Classic Wings and Warbirds Digest hands down none finer.
