I need help identifying this aircraft.
From what I gathered so far it was flown carrying the the 511th Paratrooper Infantry regiment and the C-47 crashed near Sendai, Japan in 1946 during a training mission.
Any help is appriciated

Has anyone ever pulled the C-47 that crashed intact on the upper slopes of Mt. Fuji ? Is it still there ?
