Holy cow! At the Tumwater (Olympia, WA suburb) 4th of July parade in 2002, my living history group was right behind this guy, I was driving about 20 feet behind him in my 1944 Willys. I have the videotape of it, and he was wearing the exact same stuff he has on in this photo! But the article is wrong on one point. If he's wearing the same "A-2" jacket he had then, it certainly wasn't original!
