Airframe Activity - Oct 31st to Nov 07th

As always, you can find the latest report here…
ImageAerial Visuals - Airframes Database, Latest Airframe Events Report
…and look for past reports at the same place.

As for the activity from last week...

As usual a large number of Hueys are on the list. What is unusual about last week is those airframes had registrations that ended in either AC, or TF. The AC aircraft are registered to Overseas Aircraft Support in Arizona...

The Cessna T-50/C-78/Crane tends to be the "forgotten warbird", so I thought I would mention one appeared on the list this week...

It looks like a DH-60 has been moved within New York state...

...I haven't been able to find out much about the history of this Moth. If anyone has any info to share please let me know.

There are also three British Jets on the list. The first is a Gnat...

...it looks like it is going to Colorado.

The second British Jet is a Hunter...

...which appears to have been transferred from the museum in Bodo, Norway. Can anyone confirm this one was recently imported to the US?

The last British Jet is a Srikemaster...

...which is an ex-Singapore machine.

Also, it looks like Aero Union is doing some paper work...

...actually it looks like the registrations are being updated to indicate operation from McClellan rather than Chico. Does this reflect an operational base movement? Seems odd. From the number of hangars they occupy at Chico, they seem to have a significant presence there.

I am always looking for people to edit the airframe histories and upload photos to help make the documented histories more complete. Links for both editting and uploading can be found in each airframe dossier.

Regards,

Mike

I don't have any information to add but just wanted to comment that is some great work. Thanks for doing this, I'll be keeping an eye on your site (and looking here) for updates every week. It's really hard to keep track of where everything goes sometimes and this looks like a great way to do that.

Thanks for the thanks! It took about two years to work out the database design and write the scripts so this would all work. It was much effort, but now I just need to download the data files and run the scripts weekly, and... ta daaaa! I would like to add some other registries as well. The CAA for G- regisrations in the UK would be nice, but they don't provide data files. I made need to develop a crawler for that (would be a first time thing for me). Also, it would be nice to add the French registry as well (F-) but I have no idea if they provide data files or even have a search engine.

Currently I process the datafiles for the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. If anyone knows of any other registries that provide data files please let me know. I would like to add them to the weekly processing. Just point me to a URL! :)
