CF-18B Hornet

A friend of mine flies Hornets with 425 Sqn. out of Bagotville and he told me yesterday that he would be flying into town for an IFR approach. I managed to get into position and snap his passage.

Nice shots particularly in what looks like far below optimal visability limits, love the 'cat tails' from the end of the wings 'fat air' sure adds that little 'something' to an otherwise average photo

Great pictures Ollie. The Hornets paint scheme looks very cool in all that cloud cover.

In contrast to your pics Ollie, in December I took pics of 188911 which was given last Summer to the RCAF museum adjacent to CFB Trenton. It appeared to be completely repainted and looked almost factory new aside from the missing engines and seats.

I also noticed a number of Hornets stored on the other side of the fence with various parts missing, note the tail of what was the AETE 'color bird' 188907 on the left.
