Sadly, I still don't understand what happened. :? If for real glad no one got hurt. Perhaps this thread may get locked and I am sorry to add to it. :( But reading that thread sure left one puzzled. I am still shacking my head! Anyhoo as to the prop blade bending. I believe when an aircraft belly lands the props will most likely bend back after impact with the ground since the aircraft is moving forward on an even plain. Where as IF this was a genuin accident. A nose over the blades would more then like be facing in word toward the plane at a roughly 45 degree angle. Causing a forward arch on the prop tips. IMHO

Dang Jack, you are so subtle. I "get" what you are trying to say. Thanks for that, now it all makes sense. :)

It's too bad that those "in the know" couldn't have had the self control to either say nothing, or say no comment. I think the intentional obfuscation of the issue was very strange.

I only have one question - will the name be the same or different from the original ?

Read Rich's post in the locked thread. If the motor is under power (not just running) the prop blades should bend forward not aft. Now...over to the experts.

OK, I've got the whole story now via Facebook messages, e-mails and PMs. Only I've been sworn to secrecy so I can't tell you what happened. You'll just have to go by observation of the photos. I might add that someone possibly related to this story has a beard, or had one at one time, but it might be fake. And no, it is NOT Santa Claus.
