Shuttleworth Evening display 18/06/05 pics

Sun Jun 19, 2005 3:00 pm

The Shuttleworth Collections second evening display of the year was blessed with superb weather.

Before flying began, Peter Teichmans Beech Staggerwing flew over the airfield. I assume the usual suspects were aboard?

The 2 PT-22’s based at Old Warden gave yet another wonderful display. Anyone thought of forming a team?

Avro Tutor, looking wonderful in the evening sun.

The visiting Chipmunk and RV-4 gave impressive displays, piloted by Chris Kellerher and Justyn Gorman respectively. The Chipmunk display was a particularly fine example for aerobatic control for that aircraft.

Finally, when most sane people were safely tucked up in bed, the Edwardians were flown, even at this late hour the wind was gusting enough to make things interesting. Heres the Boxkite landing.
