N-2 Gunsite

Hello.
Looking for info on the Type N-2 gunsite for my research. This an early style gunsite and I would like to know

1. Who MFG it?
2. What Type (N-3B,N-3C,N-6A,N-9) Reflector Gun Site Superceded the
N-2 or would a suitable replacement for one?
3. What type of fighters used the N-2 gunsite?

4. Is there a book or website specific to WWII aircraft weapons (m1.m2 , 20mm)
that I could look up?
