Flugwerk FW 190 D-FWJS

Tue Mar 29, 2011 6:49 pm

Just saw this pic of a FW 190 with underslung "tank" when browsing a German Forum. One user stated it isn´t a tank at all, but will be used for baggage. I do not know for sure, but it is an interesting concept if it is true. Sorry, can´t post the pic, please use this link:

I forgot to add: This plane was / is customised by Flugwerk for a private German customer, Juergen S. (they are quite private in Germany{D-FW"JS"}). But it seems to need a lot of finetuning, as do others around. No stick together and fly kit at all. Just my opinion.

By the way: Just stumbled over this video clip by bob russell regarding the repair of his ground looped FW 190....
