Anyone have ID's, photos or info on Avenger fire bombers either coming from or going to Ontario Canada in the 1960's and early 70's? I remember growing up watching during the summer months when usually a group of 4 to 6 TBM's would fly into SSM Michigan in the upper peninsula to either stay over night or fuel and take off the same day. Always wondered where they were going and where they came from.
The below link has my answer(s) probably, but I'm trying to remember what color scheme they were and what years. What a sight each year though seeing those planes fly over our house.
