Bomber Camp at Stockton, CA article in Air and Space

Wed May 18, 2011 6:25 pm

Air and Space just came out with a nice article on the Bomber Camp we put on with the Collings Foundation. Check it out:

We still have a few openings left so pass this on to anyone you think might want to come along. This year three people are returning for the second time and one guy is returning for his third time. I guess the repeat customers must have had a good time. It really is a special experience all because of a bunch of hard working volunteers especially the Ground Crew Living History folks from Arizona.

Here are a couple of photos from the Air and Space article that were taken by Chad Slattery:

Just got my copy in the mail yesterday. I havent finished the article yet but it looks like a nice read.

There are some great photographs along with the article. I love the briefing in your hanger with all the goodies stashed around (The B-29 tail, top turrets, etc...) It almost looks vintage... then I spotted the guy with his cell phone out.
