I guess sometimes what goes around comes around .... not good!

... BTW anyone make out what type aircraft are in the beginning of the film? Can't quite make them out. Allied or Axis? Or my old eyes failing me again.

Not sure about the first shot; the planes being strafed in front of the hangars in the second shot look like Mosquitos.
Interesting views of the B-17 being shot to pieces; doesn't look like it's on an airfield. Maybe forced down?

Interesting film! The aircraft in the open in the early sequence I can't tell - the light one could be a Tupolev SB or a Ju 52/3m - but I'm not convinced either way. The one by the hangar is a Ju 88, I'm pretty sure. The B-17 looks to be being shot up after a forced landing in enemy territory to destroy it, which is why it would appear on a USAAF gun camera film for a guess.
Just a few thoughts.

Poltava??? The lone B-17 looks as it may have a square D on the tail.
