Is that Lefty's old Thunderbird? Trying to remember what Lewis Shaw painted it up as....I think it was FF-704, but there used to be a silouhette of a thunderbird on the cowling, I thought.

Texas' loss is California's gain. One of my favorite P-51s. I really like the simple, clean Korean-era markings.

the row of hangars behind the one i work ,someone has a P-51 as shiney as this one. Its beautifull,looks about done and ready to roar too.
