Warbird Depot June 2011 Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers

The June 2011 Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are now available from the Warbird Depot website (http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp), this month includes:

1. Tony Ritzman and Carl Scholl flying Rod Lewis’ colorfully marked North American B-25J Mitchell over Chino, CA after its rebuild by Aero Trader. The bomber is finished in Soviet Air Force markings as ‘Rusky Night Attack’ to reflect the thousand of Lend-Lease bombers supplied during the war.

2. Chris Prevost of the Vintage Aircraft Company flying his Curtiss P-40N Warhawk with George Perez flying on his wing in his North American P-51D Mustang over Sonoma Valley, CA.

3. Gene DeMarco flying The Old Stick and Rudder Company’s Goodyear FG-1D Corsair following Classic Fighters 2007. Based in Masterton, this Corsair is the only former RNZAF Corsair still flying and also the only airworthy example in New Zealand. The RNZAF operated 424 Corsairs during WW2.

4. Cam Harrod of Dundas, Ontario flying his rare 1940 Fleet Finch 16R (s/n397 C-FDAF) over Southern Ontario.

5. Brian Sanders is seen on final approach to runway 19 at Eagles Nest in Ione, CA. following a successful test flight in Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 “Argonaut” with its new Pratt & Whitney R-2800 CB3 engine. Sanders Aeronautics is the first to re-engine the Sea Fury with a P&W R-2800.

6. Mark Peterson makes a photo pass in his N.A P-51D Mustang “Hell-er Bust” during the 2010 Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA.

7. Rick Volker flying his Swift Fuel Enterprises sponsored Suhkoi SU-26M.

8. The late Tyler Orsow flying Rick Grant's Grumman HU-16 Albatross over Clear Lake, CA. during the annual Seaplane Splash-In.

9. John Lohmar and Eric Downing flying Eric’s beautiful Douglas EA-1A Skyraider (BU#135178) at the 2006 Thunder Over Michigan airshow.

10. This rare 1929 Hamilton Metalplane received the Orville and Wilbur Wright Trophy during the Rolls-Royce Aviation Heritage Trophy competition at the 2010 National Championship Air races in Reno, NV. Chuck Wentworth accepted the trophy for the owner Pole Pass Airways, and is seen here departing from Stead Field.

11. Commander Dave Koss leads the US Navy Blue Angels Demonstration Team for the Echelon Pass at Lakeland, Florida during EAA’s 2011 Sun N Fun.

12. Canadair CT-133 Silver Star (CAF 133564) seen departing runway 18 at the 2010 EAA AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, WI.

All Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are now available in 1920x1200, 1920x1080, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024. These are the main screen resolutions. We have provided a Screen Resolution Compatibility list on the webpage that shows what other formats apply to each of these resolutions so you can apply the correct resolution for your computer screen. A link to the webpage that outlines the instructions for loading any of the desktop calendar or wallpaper selections is located at the bottom of the page.
