RAAF Neptune needing some love and care at Dubbo

I last saw this Neptune maritime patrol aircraft last in 1997 on a big trip around NSW.. the Neptune then was in a museum of war relics i recall.

It has faded more over the 14years.

Would like to see someone help the museum owners and get it under cover and painted up to how she once was in service. It is such a nice aircraft to be left to the environemnt and weather.

Sad to see the Neptune moldering away like that, but I'm sure the keepers are doing the best they can with the resources they have.

What's with the 'roo superimposed on the maple leaf? I haven't seen that marking before.
