Now for some good news

Mon Jun 13, 2011 11:32 pm

With the recent sad news regarding the bombers downed this year (so far I count 2 B-25s and the 1 B-17) let us rejoice that not a single life was lost in those three crashes. We aren't always so fortunate, and we have had some other unfortunate losses this year such as Mrs. Franklin to put these mere aircraft loses in perspective.

The other good news is that at least one of those warbirds is on its way back into the sky with the help of the fine craftsman at Areo Trader and the resources of Mr. Lewis. In speaking with my sources at Aero Trader Mr. Lewis has committed to an agressive approach to getting his B-25 back in the sky and Aero Trader has responded by having an army of folks working on the aircraft. At least one of these birds will be back to fly again and most of our friends will be around to enjoy it thanks to the good Lord's blessings.
