The Warbird Heritage Foundation's P51 returned to the air today. It has not flown since 1996 until today with Vlado Lenoch at the controls.

Hi Pat,
We're looking to bring her home to UGN on or about the 18th. A few minor details to finish and pilot schedules to get coordinated. We'd be happy to have you come out, it's been a while since we've seen you.

Well done! I remember seeing her back in the 90's at the Batavia airshow. Nice to see her back in the air where she belongs. Thanks for the pics and update.

It is a beauty !! As far as I know, it won't be coming to Oshkosh this year. The EAA has requested some of our other airplanes, so we've changed them up a bit. The Mustang will be in for paint during Airventure unless we change our mind and find a pilot to fly it up.
Sorry to miss you Chris, but we'll be back for another trip and load of airplane parts in August. See you all at Osh !!!

I guess it
is important to get the Naval stuff up there. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.
