Can anyone recommend a good reliable place (US) where I can send manuals on microfiche to have them printed out on 8.5" X 11" paper. Preferably two sided printing.
Thanks,
Glenn

did you check with your local library - they usually do have microfiche readers/printers.
Also Universities have such machines and most probably would agree to do such a task.

Hello Martin,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm looking to have it professionally done as I probably have 1500+ pages to print.

Glenn,
Since you might be doing this again, it might be a good idea to purchase a reader with scanning capability to digitally preserve what you are using. That way, you can print them out yourself on a desktop. Startup costs would be higher than getting 1500 pages printeded, but you'd be able to do it again. And you'd be able to do it for me when I need it done! Good to see you on the board-

Thanks Rob,
That would be great if you could find that information.
Five years ago I was looking for someone to digitize 35mm Microfilm and all I could find were outfits that printed Microfiche to paper. This morning I was searching for Microfiche printing and all I could come up with was a bunch of places that digitize 35mm Microfilm! Go figure!
And as for you, Mr. Field, that's actually not a bad idea and probably the right thing to do, and I was looking at the equipment to do just that this morning, but I have a hangar full of work that needs my attention a lot more than sitting in front of the computer scanning and printing Microfiche, and unfortunately the college girls are heading back to school from spring break soon so it's too late to find one of them to do it!
Looks like you're on your own again John!!
Thanks for the suggestion though,
Glenn
