So this was a pretty neat little video. Did anyone of y'all who were there get more footage? I heard that the TBM actually won the race.

I'm real surprised that lightning didnt come out of the clear blue sky and blow the top of the verticl off the tbm. Those things are a lightning magnet from what I have seen.Besides its french made.PASS.

Cool,
The TBM700 was a hotrod, the 850 is a neat addition.

Interesting note,
To get it into 850 mode (Increased HP) you move the flap lever forward.
The power lever stays the same, you move the flap lever to 850. :)

Not what I was expecting either. In a warbird forum "TBM" does not mean a TBM 850 turboprop. But it was supposed to be tongue in cheek I imagine.

TBM rules. Just did 4 hours in mine this morning, solid IFR.

Life is bliss.
